Rumination

Happy New Year’s Eve! I’ve been reflecting all morning about this past year, and I cannot believe how far I’ve come in 12 short (very long) months. All my heart feels is gratitude for these moments. I am so grateful for the journey of 2022. There were gains (so many weddings!) losses, (heaven knows), heartaches, celebrations, sickness, healthy choices, songs sung, music played, but most of all, there was .LOVE!

2022 was a year of growth for me as I stepped away from the four-walls of a classroom and stepped into the largest role I’ve ever known. I get to empower people everyday to pursue passion in their purpose!

I took many leaps of faith where others discussed my life choices, and caused rumor-weeds all over the place! It’s so funny how much people care to talk about you, but not with you!

My journey began last January connecting with others across the nation and world, putting my face and name out there.

Knowing you are called for something greater is one of the most terrifying places I’ve ever known. My heart was continually broken, I was told I was unworthy more times than I can count on my two hands and two feet. But, you know what? I NEVER GAVE UP!

I took a breath, I moved to the next. I continued on. I gave it all I had, and then continued to be rejected. With every rejection, every heartache, I learned something. I learned through the process of living in liminal space that what is meant for you WILL happen, and nothing can stop it. What is not meant for you will pass you by like a ship in the sea.

If you are going through it right now, please remember, your path is already laid. You have passions for a reason- you can fulfill your purpose, but you have to be willing to step out on faith- release your inhibitions. Don’t worry about the things of the past, keep those eyes forward and upward.

Believe you are enough. Believe in your strength.

We are all just walking each other home.
