Determined

Determination is one of those character words I have always understood. Throughout my career, I have always held myself to set a standard of a firm purpose. This week I have had the opportunity to really reflect on the differences between determination and perseverance. I have finally settled on the fact that in order to persevere, you have to have a solid determined mindset. There is no one on Earth who has gone through hard times and been successful on the other side without being grounded in their purpose.

Key points to reflect today:

• Know your purpose and stand firm in the belief you will fulfill your destiny

• Do not let others influence your purpose. Be so confident in the abilities and strengths you have that you cannot be mindful of any negativity thrown your way.

• Research and be knowledgeable about whatever you set out to accomplish. Don’t always approach things randomly. Allow yourself time to study, research, and then implement!
