Attacca

A musical directive for the performer to begin the next movement (or section) of a composition immediately and without pause.

The thought of change is always scary. However, I am a firm believer that it takes change to aid in growth. Fear makes us miss out on opportunities especially when we let it play the “what if” game in our minds. The seasons change and that’s what produces new life every year. We change from babies to teens to adult life. You probably even change with what you see on the scale if you weigh daily. My point is this, change is for a reason. Change gives us the opportunity to grow into something we’ve never been involved with before. Change allows us to stretch out of our comfort zone and really embrace our unique character to bloom into something magical.

With my new endeavors, I want to remember the phrase attacca. I used the term in my first ArkMEA President’s Note, as well as my last. It is so important to continue to move forward and not stay stagnant. I am looking forward to my attacca in this next season of life. I hope my leap of faith continues to inspire others and allows my wings to soar!
