Assurance

It’s not uncommon to hear an instructor in a meditation declare affirmations. Lately though, I’m wondering if we should be calling these cues assurances. Did you know the word confidence is in the definition of assurance?

Assurance is a positive declaration intended to give confidence.

About one year ago, I began a self-growth journey. I had a deep-rooted calling to do something greater, to be a world-changer. Little did I know my journey would take me to the deepest, darkest valleys. I have walked through fire after fire. This little blog is only a glimpse of my own personal assurance to bring confidence not only to others, but to myself as well. I had to continuously pour assurance into myself- isn’t that what leaders do? Leaders see the vision of what the world can be and have the ability to communicate that vision to others.

I hope I am bringing some assurance to you when you read my musings. Whether you are in a deep, dark valley, or doing a victory dance from the summit, I hope you are making positive declarations and standing confidently in your truth. Don’t ever stop pursing passion in your purpose.
