Come Alive

So many times, I have read this quote in the past 6 months. I’m continuing on my journey on this thing we call life, and I wonder if any other humans in the world feel the same way I do. I thought I knew what made my soul come to life, and in the last several years (through living through a world-wide pandemic), I have decided life is so short. It’s not even what make my soul come alive- it’s about what sets my soul on fire! I want to be burning in the passion of my work. I want to radiate and inspire others in their journeys to question if they are alive and on fire.

There was a book in the early 2000’s called, Teach Like Your Hair’s On Fire. The premise was to teach with so much energy and passion your students would be engaged on a deeper level. I want to empower the world to continue to live in their passions. If you are reading this today and you feel stuck in whatever you are doing, I encourage you today! Go get a journal or a piece of paper and start writing. Write down the activities that make your heart sing! Write down who you love the most in the world. You can even write a few goals. Let this writing inspire you to make the first few changes in your life. Give yourself grace as you try to navigate the changes, it won’t be easy friends. Whenever you decide to change, it always comes with growing pains. Don’t wait to come alive. Be a difference maker and live up to the potential and purpose you were created for. You have a special gift no one else has. Sure we all have similar talents and personalities, but there is no one in the world who can do the things you do as well as you!
