Beginning in January 2017, Amber stepped into the role of President of the Arkansas Music Educators Association. During this time she supported not only Arkansas Music Educators, but her board members as well. She lead the collaborative board through organizing professional development conferences and publishing multiple professional journals each year. Her initiative of “Lead a Legacy” is still currently used in the ArkMEA Journal to highlight exceptional veteran music educators in the state of Arkansas.
